Beauty and the Beast 1.10-1.12: Every time I see Bridget Regan in something besides Legend of the Seeker, I have to pause and think about what a tragedy it was that they died her hair black for that.

-These episodes felt way less focused on Catherine than the first half of the season was, except that I'm not sure that they actually were less focused on her than that a lot of the focus on her was on the romantic triangle.
-Which I guess is over and done with? I wasn't thrilled with how they had Catherine not really liking Alex (or maybe more appropriately, wanting to not like her) but was glad that a lot of her focus was on the whole "dude you need to tell her what she's getting herself into already" part. Which should have come up before they started making plans to run off together. At least Alex is hopefully free of Vincent's issues and has some resolution and can now move on to someone considerably safer and more available. (And by "available" I don't mean "in love with two women at once and trying to make himself choose the one that can make his complications go away" but "does not have secret government agencies hunting for him and has not been genetically altered so that he is prone to violent fits he can't control and is mutating even more.")
-Not overjoyed with Tess/Joe as a possible thing. Not because I don't like Joe (where was he these episodes, anyway?) but (A) as was rightly pointed out, he's married, even if he's apparently having marital problems that I don't recall hearing about before and (B) he's her boss, which has yet to really get the attention it deserves.
-That said, I need Tess and Heather to be forced to hang out more.
-Evan seriously needs to find a hobby hunting for a mutant vigilante who, as far as he knows, is a mindless beast that running around attacking people it sees assaulting other people. I also could have done without his going on about how much Catherine owes him. No, dude, you just did your job, just like she did when she saved you in the tunnels. Which isn't to say that you don't both owe the other gratitude for it, but still.
-Evan's girlfriend (occasional bed-buddy?) showed up in his office and I said "I need you to be a spy" and then she was, and I was happy, even though I know CW will burn me there.
-I really liked most of Catherine's reactions to things here, even when she was kind of wrong.

Nikita 3.7-3.10: I think I'm in another one of those "I have no idea what to think of what they're doing, so I'll just watch Nikita shoot things" phases, it seems.

-Ryan becoming Percy-ish is...odd. I think I'd actually see Michael doing it a bit easier. (Maybe? Birkoff's face was about like mine for a minute there.)

-Nikita cutting off Michael's hand certainly provides for some good drama and angst, but...well, intellectually, I realize that the way Michael is acting makes sense and, in context, is actually pretty reasonably. Emotionally, I'm going "Michael, right now Birkoff is less douchey than you and Owen is more personable and likable. Neither is a good thing." Not sure about it possibly becoming The Big Thing this season. I'd rather we actually have a character with a disability dealing with it than get a miracle cure for it.

-I do like Nikita and Owen as field partners though (as long as we don't go the triangle route...I mean, I watch assuming Owen is half in love with Nikita anyway but not going to do anything there both because of Michael and because he killed her fiance, but we really don't need any triangles here) and anticipate more scenes with Owen and has poor social skills attempting undercover work.

-I keep forgetting Owen doesn't know everyone until he gets introduced.

-I'm glad Alex and Sean finally sat down and talked. (And the other stuff, too, but mostly talked.) And that Alex is done with the drugs and that it wasn't the dude she's known for 5 minutes who figured it out and confronted her about it, which I was worried about after the episode where Owen and Alex played detective together.

-Also glad the mole plotline was resolved without Sonya dying and/or getting kicked out and/or getting the traitor label slapped on her. Though, err, they seem to have somewhat forgotten her since.

Person of Interest 2.11-2.14:

-My favorite of these was Carter interrogating all the "Man in the Suit" suspects, and her and Reese having public fake-but-secretly-real bonding while Fusco protected the model. (I actually wish we'd had more of Fusco's plotline there.)
-I feel bad for Donnelly, even though his obsession was starting to reach sociopathic levels. (Seriously, dude, deliberately trying to get a guy to be the sole target of a prison mob's violence just to see if he'll fight back? Reese could have easily died pretty quickly there, and I'm not sure when Donnelly would have stepped in if Elias hadn't. I think MOST people would have reacted like Carter did there, even without a personal connection to the victim.)
-And did they really have SWELLING MUSIC in the corridor when Carter didn't want to leave Reese when he had the bomb strapped to his chest? They actually did, didn't they?
-I feel like I was just trolled re: Stanton. "Hey look, she's back and here are her goals and her story and her motivation and she's on an epic revenge and information-gathering quest. No, wait, we just blew her up." Maybe I should rewatch and see it there was a time gap in the video camera when the car blew up.
-Didn't care much about the billionaire plot in the latest episode. Did like the Carter and Fusco confrontation (I get why Fusco wants to unload because he wants an even playing board with Carter, but if she'd let him continue, she would have had to either turn him in, or cover for the actions of a straight up dirty cop, which is different for covering for actions that are helping to save lives. Though I can't help but think Fusco would have gotten farther if he'd approached it as explaining that it was Reese who killed the 2 cops and that they were dirty, as opposed to starting to go "Here, let me tell you all about all my dirty laundry!") and learning more about how things went down later on for Finch and Nathan.

I don't seem to be in the mood for Lost Girl or Scandal.  (By which I really mean "I don't feel up to dealing with Dyson, Vex or Fitz.")
