Wedding dress shopping with mom...

meganbmooreSo, yesterday my mother and I went hunting for an outfit for me for my brother's wedding...found something at the third place...started to go try it on...she acted like it was a crime to go into the fitting room with only one outfit so I had to wait until she found another outfit(that I would have accepted, but wasn't overly fond of) First outfit fit and looked good, I'm all ready for lunch...and she puts it back on the shelf after noting the size and brand and says that we have to go look in one more store now (insert silent sobbing) Go to Dillards. Find a dress. Repeat, only this time she finds me this black thing that she thinks is all prissy and girly and cute and I think looks like one ofthose older flapper dresses. Both fit(note: gone down a bit over 2 sizes this semester) and since they're both cheap, I get both(since she's paying and all) My brother a) likes the one I like better myseld, b) thinks Jen will like that one better too, and c) agrees with me that the other dress looks like a flapper dress. Will be using the first two for ammo when she tries to convince me to wear the flapper dress...
Was supposed to go car shopping with dad today, but he had to go to work ::looks sad::
First batch from the Milehigh sale should be here today, second tomorrow.
Had about $30 left in Hastings store credit/gift card so I went to blow it between work and dress shopping yesterday, decided to really blow it and spend it on a couple of new anime...the second Inu Yasha movie(which they had like, 10 copies of then and when I went back by after work--got out early and didnt feel like going home yet and Hastings is about 2 blocks away--they had none left) and Spiral, which Nikki(I think it was Nikki...or was it Kulit?) was babbling about last week and I kept seeing ads for everywhere and sounded interesting...spent almost exactly $11.
