So, apparently when medicine says "take with food to help avoid having an upset stomach" it means "have with a big meal." I'd planned to go to the PO to get my Basara DVDs before class today, and the bottles of both medicines say no driving for at least 30 minutes after taking them and the antibiotics say to eat when you take the pill to help avoid an upset stomach. Get up to leave about 40 minutes after taking them, get hit with a dizzy/woozy/upset tummy whammy and spend 20 minutes sitting on the bathroom floor beside the toilet(don't worry, I wasn't throwing up the whole time, just, you know...not feeling like I could get up. If I'd gone by my regular schedule and taken the meds 40 minutes before leaving for class, I would have been late for class...

I didn't have any problem with the meds yesterday, but I also had them a) NOT immediately after waking up, and b) eat LOTS, not just a large-ish biscuit and some bacon.

Speaking of Basara...watched the first ep to test the subtitles...some tense errors and typos, but I don't think anyone not already familiar w/ the story would have any trouble following along.

Survived my Spanish test...some felt easy, some I just stared at in horror. In better news, my grammar test got pushed back from next tues to next thurs.

Went to bed even earlier last night, but did get some reading before zonking out and among the studying.

Fables #33: I read the last page and turned back to the front. Do I need to say anything else? Probably not, but I guess I will anyway. Bigby's dad is great, Buckingham seems to be becoming more and more free of Bachallo's influence(yay!) Rose rocks ever since she took over the farm...and when Baby finds Bigby he/she/it needs to bring him back pronto. But...why do I have a feeling we'll see several years pass(for the fables) before that happens?

Lions, Tigers & Bears #1: Y'know, it occured to me a while back that these days, all a first issue needs to do to make readers happy(provided that it's not the first issue of a book for an existing character) is show that he or she can string sentences together in a readable way and introduce a concept that's interesting enough to make you want to read more. This just happens to be my first chance to say that(and yes, Mike Bullock more than appomplishes that) Interesting little intro, though I had the most fun with the names of the Greco-Roman gods being given to the stuffed cats. I admit, "Pallo" threw me for about 15 seconds because I saw it and though "Pallas," as in "Athena," but Athena was already spoken for through Minerva, and Pallo was obviously male, then it was obvious that it was Apollo and...(sees the funny looks) Ok, moving on. Nice to see what Jack Lawrence can do with (I assume) lighter deadline pressures...Darkham Vale was good, but this is a lot better, especially the colors which, combined with the line art, make most of the panels look like animation stills.

Noble Causes #6: I love my Nobles. I love my Frostie(not quite as much as the original Frost, but...) I'm loving Cosmic Rae and Detective O'Mega more and more all the time. The end. Oh, and I knew that that was what was up with Doc and it was nice to see them touch in with Liz's origins.

Now, mustmustMUST get to work on my next BF article.
