Well, I FINALLY got to see it.
I have WB at my new apartment, so I just finished watching the "Scarecrow" ep.
Overall I give the single episode an A-. I wanted to smack Sam several times, and was lost in regards to the back story, but it regained most points by the sheer virtue of having Jensen Ackles playing a charming smart-alec.
::slips into a Jensen Ackles induced state of bliss::
::hem::
Anyway, good show. Plotting was tight, dialogue was smart and funny enough, without being to the point where people would start calling it a Buffy knockoff, and the overall plotline was treated, for the most part, as being of secondary importance to the individual episode's plotline, a la "Veronica Mars," as opposed to, say, "24" or "Lost," where a single missed episode will leave you floundering in the deep end.
