playing around in photo shop

New computer has a version where I can actually figure out how to do a few things in.  Like make simple avatars.  Really basic stuff, but, considering how computer illiterate I am when it comes to such things, I feel rather proud.

I used the cover to Witchblade #97, and, as it may ::hem:: "embarass" a few people...

Started with this:

Almost guaranteed to chase many males away until IT goes away, not to mention probably getting me reprimanded at any boards I was actually brave enough to use it at.

First try resulted in this:

Which is too tiny, and not really what I was going for, anyway..

I liked this one a little better:

The main problem with those two is that, with out the Witchblade, it looks like generic romance novel cover(which,of course, is the basis for the cover itself, but that's not the point...)

I liked these next two a whole lot better:

You can see the Witchblade itself, but we're getting back into reprimand territory...

Still, they're far less likely to seen half of my friends list running...
