Gokusen!(yes, I see now why doramas get so obsessive)

Watched the first 2 episodes of the Gokusen dorama last night and today(subtitles are large enough the watching it on the laptop isn't problematic.

I get now why a lot of the fans of this weren't big on the anime(though I still want to see the rest of that)  faster pace, funnier, but less crass.  Plus the timing/music(as cast) is excellent.

The dvds I got have really, really good subs, but, while the picture quality of the first was excellent, the second was...urm...it got distorted at the bottom of the screen a lot, but it only made the subs unreadble a couple times, and very briefly.

I think, though, that when I get more doramas(Mars and Musashi are next)  I'll do so from the guy dangermousie linked me to yesterday.

Note to emphasize how much I'm liking it:  I'm actually putting off starting season 2 of "Veronica Mars" until I finish it(granted, that's only 8 more eps...and probably a movie)

Well, he only just barelybarely edges Shin out...and the marginal gap decreases steadily.

And this, mind you, is not a "who Yankumi needs to end up with" thing...

Yeah, the HYD hair is scary scary scary. But not as scary as the fashions.
