Now I want to read everyone's again...
Favorite drama overall: Musashi, very, VERY closely followed by Damo.
Least favorite drama: Hmm...a toughie. If I actively dislike it, I just kinda stop watching. I guess mmmmaaaayyybbbbeeeee Fugoh Keiji. I like it, but I've been watching it VERY sporadically for months. I'll watch an ep, like it, then forget untuil the next time I go "hmm...I need a short distraction..." But really, I've never stuck with something I dislike or am bored by long enough for it to have "least favorite" status.
Drama that everyone loves except for you: Goong. Interesting setup. Great visuals. Likable cast. But I just can't see why everyone is so nuts about it or the heroine.
Drama that you love though no one else does: Trick. Ok, I'm not the ONLY one, but I only need 1 hand to count the people I know who've watched it...
Drama you never thought you’d love as much as you do now: Trick again. Thought it sounded amusing and I got it right after watching Musashi, which had both Nakama Yukie and Abe Hiroshi in large supporting roles, but I didn't expect a lot out of it, then was nuts for it by the end of the first story arc.
Drama you thought you’d love much more: Goong and Mars, though in both cases, I think a large part of that is the enormous hype surrounding them.
Angstiest drama: Damo.
Fluffiest/funniest drama: Trick for funny, It Started with A Kiss for fluffy.
Most Melodramatic Drama: Hwang Jin Yi. But in the good way.
Favorite drama hero: Hwangbo Yoon from Damo, though he only barely edges out Hanizawa Rui, Ueda and Yum Moon.
Favorite drama heroine: Chae-Ohk from Damo(see trend?) followed very closely by Otsu, Naoko and Jung Hwa
The drama heroine that would rule the world: Yamada Naoko from Trick or Yankumi from Gokusen-you will cave to their insanity or go insane yourself. Hmm...maybe I should just say "Any character Nakama Yukie plays..."
Hero I’d take home to mother: Hanizawa Rui or Hwangbo Yoon...The polite, considerate(non-violent and non-womanizing, unlike his friends) rich, intelligent boy who will destroy you if you mess with his or the handsome, noble, devoted charismatic leader who'd rise to the highest ranks in the government were it not for pesky things like birth and social status.
Evilest drama parent: Aaaah...hmmm...Yul's mother from Goong.
Most awesome drama parent (a small category): Shap-Yee's mother in The Gentle Crackdown. Retired wuxia heroine who saves all their butts(a lot) FTW while still being a devoted housewife and house mother, managing her sister-in-law's problems and running a business.
Worst drama outfit: Anything Fernando wore in Magicians of Love.
Craziest drama fashion: Magicians of Love. Fern just got the worst of it.
Best drama kiss: The rain kiss in It Started With A Kiss.
Best rain scene (come on, every single drama has one :D): Chae-Ohk and Hwangbo Yoon in Damo, though once I actually see it in context, Nicholas Tse fighting blindfolded in the rain in Handsome Siblings may top it.
Favorite drama couple: Chae-Ohk and Hwangbo Yoon
Worst drama couple: Aaah...hmm...I'm cheating and going with the married couple in the Painted Skin story in Strange Tales of Liao Zhai. Because, you know, their basically having a sucky marriage and her not trusting him and him being secretive and unfaithful was a large part of the point, but you couldn't root for them, really, even when you were supposed to...
Most UST couple: Chae-Ohk and Hwangbo Yoon again.
Couple You Never Thought You’d Root For, before Drama: Probably Ueda and Naoko in Trick. You just can't believe it until you see it.
Most awesome gang of friends: Both groups of Gokusen kids.
Best Guy-Girl Friendship: Right now it's Rui and Makino, but Little Fish and Orchid in Handsome Siblings are giving them a run for their money.
Favorite secondary OTP: Tang Yu and Ah Nu in Chinese Paladin.
Favorite “Third Person” in a love triangle: Yum Moon in Emperor of the Sea, closely followed by Yue Ru in Chinese Paladin and Jang Sung-Baek in Damo.
Least favorite “Third Person” in a love triangle: That twit who was after Jae In in 1% of Anything. Gaaaah...only calling Jae In's rival after kidnapping and drugging the heroine, expecting him to go and rape her and ruin the relationship(fortunately he was a great guy and he went, made sure she was ok then got right to calling Jae In and telling him what happened) lets her beat out Yukari in Kurosagi. I mean, what did those 2 need, restraining orders? Gettingthe "not wanted" treatment from Domyoji or Si? A "not interested" tattoo on their foreheads?
Favorite drama actor: Toss up between Abe Hiroshi and Oguri Shun
Favorite drama actress: Toss up between Ha Ji Won and Nakama Yukie.
Hottest drama actor: Ahm...urm...uh...*head goes splodey* I'll go with Song Il Gook, as, unlike the other dorama characters I'm rabidly in love with where I would have liked them if someone else played them, just not as much, I don't know if I-or the rest of the fandom-would have noticed Yum Moon if someone else had played him.
Hottest drama actress: Well, as I'm not exactly a good judge of female hotness, I'll just say that Ha Ji Won is probably the prettiest(without looking like a porcelain doll) off the top of my head.
Cutest drama actor: Eddie Peng.
Cutest drama actress: Erica Toda.
Actor/actress you wish would make more dramas: Kang Dong Won, Oguri Shun, Bryan Wang, Lee Seo Jin, Soo Ae.
Actor/actress you pray would make less: None really, though I'd like it if fewer jdramas ended up being vehicles for JE boys.
A couple you want to see paired again (that don’t have an upcoming drama): Nakama Yukie/Abe Hiroshi and Ha Ji Won/Lee Seo Jin. And Song Il Gook and Soo Ae where they're the OTP.
A couple you want to see together for the first time: They starred together in g@me, but I'd like to see Nakama Yukie and Fujiki Naohito do a drama together. I'd love a period drama starring Lee Seo Jin and Soo Ae, or Ha Ji Won and Song Il Gook(fixated? Me?)
Manga you’d want to see adopted into a drama: Wallflower/Perfect Girl Evolution.
Worst manga-to-live-action adaptation: The only one where I've both seen the drama and read the manga is Mars. While I'm one of the few who prefers the manga, the drama certainly isn't something to put in the "worst" category.
Best manga-to-live-action adaptation: Mars wins by default.
Unsubbed drama that you wish was subbed: Heroic Legend. Cdrama. Revenge. Wuxia. "My true love is my greatest enemy." Etc. Fan Bing Bing starring now gives it an extra boost of want because of Handsome Siblings.
Most anticipated drama:
Legend of the Condor Heroes (2007)
Strange Tales of Liao Zhai 2
The Legend
Time Between Dog and Wolf
The King and I
Rinsing Flowers and Purifying Swords
Least favorite drama: Hmm...a toughie. If I actively dislike it, I just kinda stop watching. I guess mmmmaaaayyybbbbeeeee Fugoh Keiji.
