Giving the 80s a rest for a bit, it's time for Ever After, the late 90s historical adaptation of Cinderella. This is actually probably the movie that made me realize I like period pieces and settings more than any other.
MVs:
Sadly, I don't have a whole lot of pics.
This is our heroine, Danielle:

She may be a servant, but she knows how to stand up for herself. Especially against things like would be rapists.

This is something Danielle is VERY firm against:

When not fending off rapists and spouting off philosophy, Danielle likes to impersonate noblewomen:

Bond with gypsies:

And hug haystacks:

This is Prince Henry:

While he is quite handsome and quite charming, I still am not completely convinced he is worthy of Danielle.

Prince Henry would like to point out that he married her, made her the Queen of France and Punished her Evil Stepmother and Stepsister, thus making up for any stupidity he may have displayed in the movie. I concede he has a very valid point.

Naturally, they meet, fall in love, she makes him grow up and they are very cute and sweet and charming and pretty together:

This is the Evil(yet devious, calculating and awesome) Stepmother:

These are the Evil Stepsisters. Except much prettier than they usually are. And one is actually rather sweet if often doormat-ish.

I've actually always rather liked Marguerite, the Evil One.

What can I say? She and Evil Stepmother scheme and plot well together.

This is Leonardo DaVinci.

He is our resident Fairy Godmother representative.

He and Danielle bond over his inventions and an odd encounter in a lake:

When the time for the Royal Ball comes, he helps her to look like this:

I actually didn't like that the first time I saw the movie, but afterwards(and in subsequwnt viewings) I decided that I quite liked it.

Prince Henry is somewhat worried about the haystack hugging earlier.

Danielle assures him that it was a one-time thing.

And, of course, I am still making icons like a madwoman. A few more:
