meganbmoore Well, while pretty much everyone else on my f-list who is of the anime/manga contingent(and even some of those who aren't) are busy spazzing over finishing yuletide stories, realizing they didn't get something fixed in them, or dying of exhaustion nowthat they're done, I continue to not read this, for the pleasure of those who do not flee in terror after the last two posts.
I shall not attempt coherency or anything, and instead simply move on to the insanity(only 2 more volumes left online to not read...woe.)

*One of the villains is named Abigail.
*Before being won over by the power of DS's *hem* Arshes Nei and Gara had a fight. Now that they're friends again, They're talking about her giving him scars in their fight, and Gara tells her that he doesn't mind getting the beautiful scars" as long as she's the one who gave them to him, so don't worry. I think that translates as "I've always had a crush on you, but can only tell you now that DS would rather get beat up by Yoko."
*As he's barechested and flexing during this, Nei feels compelled to tap him on the chest, just to make sure the six pack is real. I think it translates as "I like you too, but I'll still moon over DS for the rest of the series."
*I make none of the above up. Truly.
*I've mentioned that there's a lot of nudity, but I don't think that what I've mentioned is that DS is the person who's nude the most. After he randomly finds an excuse to get nude, he magically materializes clothes. There's a reason his name translates as "Dark Tailor."
*Anytime DS contemplates misbehaving in any way(except leching) he remembers Yoko scolding him, and either starts sputtering, or start behaving like an angel. Or both.
*The mangaka is getting more and more into the meta side of things, and will now randomly just have text saying what hapens instead of showing it, emphasizing that it's what happens in every story of the genre. He does this for 2-3 pages at one point.
*When DS and Nei are sucked into a black hole, they conveniently find 2 magic swords inside and return just in time to save Gara's butt. We see nothing between getting sucked into the hole and returning...without new swords.
*There's this amazing faux-dramatic sequence where Gara is supposedly killed, causing DS to prattle on endlessly and wreak vengeance over his "brother's" death, and then mourn dramatically. After the "Farewell Gara, master of the ninja! We will never forget you! Farewell..and thank you!" part of the dramatic monologue, Gara bursts up, grabs and shakes DS, demanding to know if he's finished with the monologue yet, and especially the last bit of drivel and the brothers part. DS has no answer.
*Gara also got a hug from Nei for coming back from the dead, but DS objected so it was a short one.
