So, my brother graduated from college today(leaving my mother with a huge grin, as now both kids and her daughter in law are college graduates, a major goal in her life--she was positively bouncy)  In addition to other things, it means I've been busy all day and am working late because I had to change my schedule for the day.

That said...I remember that people were rowdy at my graduation, and at Jen's, buttoday...good grief...I swear they were hooting and shrieking every second.  I mean, yeah, graduation is a  celebration in a way, and people should be happy, and I don't expect people to sit there looking at a funeral, but it's never struck me as the kind of thing you shriek and squeal your way through.  I mean, save it for the party, or after wards outside.  It just strikes me as really disrespectful to carry on throughout, almost like it would for a wedding or a church service.

In other news, I've only managed to get 60 pages of the new Basara read since starting last night because of various things at work, and the next person to interrupt me and have me go do something might get somehting bitten off.
