meganbmooreWell, hello again, Kaede. I was wondering how long it would take you to show up again. Kusanagi, I sincerely hope you will not be borrowing a page from Inu Yasha's book and doing the hyper protective/obsessive thing with your new girl but not getting why she tends to get a touch upset when you keep chasing after the undead old girlfriend. Noatter how understandable it is, that kinda gets old. Then again, I'm not sure there's actually anything home inside Kaede's head.
Mr. "I have eight magatamas and lots of hair"(no, I still haven't caught his name, he keeps distracting me when I try to notice it) has, I think, chewed up every piece of scenery in sight and is very, very fond of his "better than you" speach. He is growing on me. Not growing on me, sadly, is Sakura, probably because, shinto powers aside, her character doesn't have a lot to it besides being brash and annoyed by Momiji. We already have Koume for that. Koume likes to blow things up and likes Momiji even when she wants to shake her. And she's runs around in a pink jumpsuit, toting a bazooka.
I suspect Kusanagi's brainpower is diminishing every episode. It probably can't handle angsting over Kaede, obsessing over Momiji, trying to figure out dating, and waiting for a good chance to ogle panties all at once. At one point, I think his brain was trapped in a perpetual "where's Momiji?" loop. Really, he's lucky that Momiji is amazingly sweet, and not that bright. And has developed a hopeless crush. I'm not sure that she even minds that he's taken to breaking into her room every night. It's a sign of love.
Also, it says a lot when all your friends decide that the best way to let a guy know you like him is to write "I love you, Kusanagi!" on your panties. Of course, they're his favorite things, so it's a good point.

SUSA-NO-O HAS BEEN RESURRECTED!!!
Sure, he's a baby now, but I'm sure it won't take long for him to be Cabled. (Cabled: Comic book term for babies suddenly becoming full grown warriors. Coined for Nathan Summers, a Marvel Comics character who was the infant son of a hero who was given a disease and taken thousands of year into the future to be saved by a member of an organization founded by his sister from an alternate reality, and then he came back an angsty, super-militant, middle-aged soldier.)
I highly approve of this resurrection.
ETA: Also, did Kunikida know Kusanagi before all this? They don't really act like it and I don't remember it being mentioned, but Kusanagi was always hanging around Kaede, who Kunikida raised, and since Kaede noticed him, it seems Kunikida should have, too.
