meganbmooreClare, Jean and Galatea fight the first female Awakened Being and her boytoy. Well, after Galatea stops Clare from turning and Clare stops Jean from turning. Like all proper supervillains, Evil Little Missy spouts off about her plans before taking off and sparing them.
Since Clare saved her, Jean decides to follow Clare for...uhm...ever. Despite being ranked 38 spots above Clare. Galatea does the whole "nope, don't care about you, but you lived and were fairly impressive so I'll tell everyone you died even though they won't believe me" bit. Often that annoys me, but with her, it just works. Of course, Clare gets hunted down by Rubel and Rafaela(STOIC CLAYMORE WITH FACIAL SCAR!) and offered death or suicide mission. Since she's headed in the general direction of the suicide mission, she goes with that.
AND WE GET A CLAYMORE REUNION!!!! HELEN! DENEVE! MIRIA! JEAN! NINETEEN OTHER CLAYMORES!
Uhm, yeah, I loved the "we awakened but we got it under control and now we're a club" scenes. Deneve and Helen have such interesting ideas about how to play nice. They remind me of a few dozen shounen boys.
But...uhm...you know...they keep losing Claymores lately...with all the other deaths, shouldn't Clare be ranked higher now?
Also, so much love for everyone going into shock at Jean, a single digit ranking, being all humble and respectful and following Clare because Clare saved her.
