So, I realized earlier that I've only received 1 comment on any entry since Thursday night.  Now, I try not to be egotistical, and it's not like every post I ever make gets comments, but that's a little odd(I mean, a Fruits Basket post, 3 Saiyuki post, a comic post, 4 post on a Japanese mythology book  that insists on calling a samurai a "doughty knight," a Stargate post, and 2 posts on E'S: Otherwise, all of varying length and substance, as well as various odds and ends, and NO ONE had anything to say?  Even elsewhere?  That's either a serious blow to my ego, or a problem w/ LJ...)

So I asked 2 people if anything I'd posted today was on their f-list and went 2 days back on 3 other f-lists, and...nothing from me.

I THINK I have it solved now(a future dated private post that's gone now) but I'm not sure.  

ETA:  Ok, just looked at 2 of the lists I checked earlier and this shows up but the other posts today don't, and forgottenpolishsees this but hasn't seen anything the last few days, so I guess it's fixed now.

J.R. Bourne and his pretty, pretty blue eyes are back on Stargate.  I have forgiven him for not looking like Matt Damon at his angstiest and being able to smile because he has pretty eyes.

In other news, when the heck did I start shipping Carter and O'Neill(probably that really long "I'm cold" hug...)  Course, his being her commanding officer means I highly disapprove of anything actually happening(though I think engaged in one alternate reality and married in another counts as being canon.)

ETA!  APOPHIS LIVES!  This causes me great joy, though I have no idea why.

I was wondering how long it would take Stargate to do an alien invasion/pod people episode...and they even compensated a bit for Carter not getting to participate in the body swapping episode last season(though I feel that both episodes could have capitalized on that even more...)

I wonder if Carter feels dirty for having to go to Maybourne for help.

Also, did someone give Christopher Judge a top secret textbook for how to be the manliest of manly men?  He takes it to whole new levels.  (I almost want to say that he's so manly I can't even see the slashers even touching Teal'c, but I've known too many slashers to dare say such a thing.)

meganbmoore peacefully sits there, reading Samurai Deeper Kyo and watching Hotaru, Akira and Benitora hack up an army of Mibu soldiers.

Random person meganbmoore is only passingly familiar with as a person who works in the building  and does not know  NEARLY well enough to be talking about bodily aches and pains sits down beside her and stares at the book for a moment.

Random Person:  "I think I did something to my arm but I don't know what." raises and wiggles arm a bit "It was fine yesterday but there's something wrong with it today.

meganbmoore looks at Random Person, then attempts to surreptitiously look around to see if she possibly misunderstands and realizes that not only is Random Person looking right at her, but there's no one else nearly close enough for her to misunderstand and makes polite noises.

Random Person:  "Do you ever have that happen to you?  Be just fine one day and then have some part of your body just hurt and not be able to move?"

meganbmoore is saved by actual work.  meganbmoore finishes actual work and politely checks to see if Random Person was waiting to talk to her some more.  Random Person is talking to someone else, so meganbmooreresumes reading.

10 pages later, during Important Character Reveal.

Random Person:  "So, do you do anything special for Halloween?"

meganbmoore:  "Well, I'm not a kid and don't have any, and I live in an apartment, so not really."

Inner meganbmoore: "GAAAAAH!!! 5000 of you psychotic swordsmen in this book, and not one of you will come to life and end this for your devoted fan?"

ETA:  In case it wasn't clear, the next person to "save" me from the "boredom" of reading may die...seriously.  I don't mind when it's my coworkers in my department because they know I 100% read by choice, so when they interrupt reading, I know it's only because they're bored stiff(and if it's that bad for them, I'm probably kinda bored myself.)
