As calixa has caved to the world of anime and I have browbeaten talked her into watching Spiral(which seems to be going well so far) I have been stalking youtube for anime MVs with which to spam her as part of an oh-so-secret-and-subtle plot to get her to read the mangas they're based on.

As always when I go looking for Spiral MVs, I stumbled across this:

Why, Christopher Judge, why?

As mentioned before, Teal'c of Stargate SG-1 is the epitome of the stoic manly man.  However, in season 4, we are forced to endure this:




I understand this is because Christopher Judge grew it and no one wanted to tell him how stupid it looked.

I feel someone needed to point out that costars don't let costars display their bad facial hair the the world(note that historically required facial hair is an exception.)

I long for the return of this:



Can you not see how the goatee ruins the image completely?

I hope the world of Stargate SG-1 will right itself in tomorrow's viewing.

J.R. Bourne and his pretty, pretty blue eyes are back on Stargate.  I was worried Nordic Blondie had replaced him.  I like Nordic Blondie, but she does not look at any castmemembers with pretty, sorrowful eyes that say "you have the memories of my true love but are not her and don't love me, so I shall siliently pine for eternity in mostly-spoken acceptance." 

ETA (after finishing ep):  NNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!  *sniffles*  At least I do like Nordic Blondie(yeah, I know the character's names, but I got used to calling her that before I learned it...)

The unsightly growth(to be kind about it) is GONE.  But it got longer and furrier before it went away.  That is the scary part. 

But why is Daniel suddenly all buff and scruffy?  And why did Carter chop all her pretty hair off?  And how in love with the time loop episode am I?
