Does anyone know if these Tokyopop series have been confirmed one way or the other, as far as whether or not they're getting cancelled:

Genju no Seiza
Tactics
Tokko

I figure I should check before I actually start reading any of them.

Actually, has there been any sort of final safe/cancelled list from them?

And on a quasi-unrelated note, rightstuf finally sent me shipping confirmation on the volumes of Antique Gift Shop(which I always want to mistype as Antique Cake Shop...silly near-identical titles) that I ordered months ago.

Got flat tire on way home from errands.  More specifically, the tread tore loose and flapped around while I was pulling over to investigate, but the tube stayed inflated, so I was getting "weird vibrations/sound,"  not "flat tire bounce."  As I was on the frontage road to the highway, I decided to pull off into the nearest access road(about 20 yards.)  Flapping tread stripped wires connected to the fuel system loose (we're talking about 1 1/2 ft of flapping tread, though I didn't know that yet) resulting in my car dying as I was turning.

In theory, I will have my car back sometime tomorrow.

In theory.  They have to find out exactly what that did to the car, first.  The tread also whacked the *hem* out of the car's body right around the area.

Amusingly, I came home to notifications from ebay that I won 2 auctions.

And to a message from [personal profile] telophasethat what I am officially calling a Care Package of books was on the way.  (Free books>>>Anything.  Except free car repairs.  Which I will not get.)

And now I will read and have milk and cookies while I decide whether I want to watch Hellboy or Onmyoji, or start Hansungbyulbok tonight.

 A)  Between the towing, the new tire, the diagnostics check, and repairing the wiring harness, the estimate is $355.  At least I can get the towing refunded by insurance.

B)  Will at least supposedly have a car again tomorrow.

C)  And have been told of other things likely to go wrong with the car in the next year or so.

I should preface this with pointing out that I read about 100 pages at the car repair shop, waiting to find out if I'd be able to take the car home today, and read most of the rest today when not dealing with that, finances, or what to do about work if I don't have the car back before I go to work tomorrow.

My main thought is this:  How did a series about a "normal" 30-something year old woman who lost everything due to fantasy plotlines happening and then got dragged into it all again once she had a life again a decade later turn into a Young Coming of Age Hero With Special Powers and A Special Destiny series?
