From great boredom comes L. J. Smith icons.

Last night, in a fit of "I have no nephews yet, limited internet access, and only a few things I could watch," I made icons from the cover of the Forbidden Games omnibus.

These are spawned from IM conversations about how L. J. Smith's heroines are what fandom likes to designate Mary Sues (though not as Mary Suie as the average male lead is a Gary Stu) but are lots of fun anyway.  (Trufax: most protagonists will have a number of traits that are considered Sue/Stu traits.  Female leads are just more likely to get labelled as such.)

I paid attention to Fox News on purpose for 60 seconds today. I got to hear them endorse anti-Shinto and anti-Muslim sentiment, but allow that Buddhism is ok because it's passive and peaceful.
