Dec. 14th, 2010 07:08 pmI have now watched the last episodes of the year for both Nikita and Lost Girl, and have no idea what to make of either. Nikita was basically an incredibly dramatic way to maintain a relative status quo with some change for one character. Lost Girl...has the same strengths and weaknesses as the rest of the series. There is me odd stuff that I need to digest there, and some I don't think makes me particularly happy. The series in general tries to skim over various hotbuttons of mine, with differing levels of success, and the last episode combined the all into one fell swoop. (Though I'm amused that it took theseries 13 episodes to go "wait, if Bo has a mother, then surely she has a father, too...?")
Really, with som exceptions, I get more enjoyment from an individual episode of either show than I do from entire runs of other shows. I just can't think about either too critically.
