So, there's this interview with Somerhalder and Kevin Williamson that's popping up on the TVD comms. The ones I've seen so far are locked, so here's the text under a cut.
( Spoiler Alert: Damon Salvatore is an unrepentant rapist and he likes it that way. )I...don't know what is viler to me. The actions being described, or how two men are sounding so happy about getting to write and act a plot where a woman is repeatedly raped and abused, both physically and mentally, because the actress can be witty.
Why can't this show have middle ground? Everything either kes me joyous and obsessed, or wanting to drop it and tell everyone to never ever touch it again.
