Jul. 14th, 2012 02:40 pmI don't use the local library very often (Not because I dislike libraries, but because I'm a book hoarder and only really have need of it when looking for a specific book, and because I have this thing about feeling pressured to read on a schedule/deadline. Plus the branch near me is nice but small, and the main branch takes 15 minutes to drive there.) but I've been getting the Phryne Fisher books by Kerry Greenwood recently, and while I was checking out the next book today I noticed that the library catalogue didn't have 2 books I'll get to soon, and I decided to try to ILL them. The titles are Blood and Circuses and Ruddy Gore, which got me a slight "Wha-?" look from the sheer morbidity of them. (Naturally, it couldn't have been books titled Raisins and Almonds or The Castlemaine Murders or Queen of the Flowers?
(I did, meanwhile, get the "Miss-Representation' documentary, but will be watching the last disc ever of Chuck first.)
