meganbmooreWhen I got home, I had the "please forget about that "war" thing" bribe stimulus payment waiting for me. I have plans for you, my precious. Yes, yes I do. I also had assorted "delivery" slips that should add up to a giant stack of manga, May's comics, and the new Marie Brennan book. They shall just be added to the largely untouched pile in the middle of my very small living room tomorrow. (Ok, fine, I'll unpack tomorrow...maybe a bit tonight...I should clean some before going back to work on Thursday anyway.)
Speaking of apartments,telophase took rachelmanija and I to her new one today. I now have extreme apartment envy. Her cat will be in heaven.
I had much fun at the con (despite being dead tired through a lot of it) even though it seems I didn't do much. I shall go again assuming I did not alienate people* and get invited and can afford to. Actually, I thinkrachelmanijawants me to go as Duo Maxwell if she goes as Heero Yuy next year. My hair may actually be long enough again by then.
(Yes, my hair is all the same length again and I feel much better, though I'm still mildly depressed at having so much less of it now. It also has not been loved by the blowdryer in 3 days because my legs objected to standing on hard tile for 20 minutes if they didn't have to, so it has been kinda stringy.)
I shall now spend the next 2 days reading manga I did not read at the con, and possibly cleaning. And finish Legend.
*I was half zombified at random chunks, which means than I likely randomly rambled and interrupted people without realizing it because I am told I do this when zombified even though I rarely remember my behavior when zombified and if I did this then I wholeheartedly apologize.
