I'm poking around youtube looking for Fulle/Pacifica MVs from Scrapped Princess. I want to cry. Because, that may have been one of the shorter lived anime romantic relationships, they're also one of the cuter and definately one of the most tragic ones. But the good kind of tragic. But I'm making myself want to cry. And I'm still watching them...
Sigh...
ETA: To make myself feel better, I went looking for Shannon MVs. Because Shannon is pure awesome and my Scrapped Princess love(sorry Fulle, Chris and Leo)

When Pacifica meets Fulle, she has amnesia and has been separated from her siblings and friends. Fulle is much like Shannon in demeanor and she latches on to him because it automatically makes her feel safe, even though she doesn't know why, and he essentially takes her in like a stray kitten and they live together for a while(her in the bed, him on the floor) but eventually her friends Winnea and Leo(a sweetie who's in love with her) find her but she doesn't remember them. The bad guys find her eventually though, including Fulle's former friends. Fulle is a former soldier and assassin who had enough of killing, but pulls out his blades again to protect her. In the end(of his part of the story) he dies so that she can escape(he promised her that he'd catch up after diverting the guards, even though he knew it probably wouldn't work out that way) taking out quite a few soldiers in the process. Learning of his death was one of the things that shocked her back into her memories, but it caused her so much grief that she literally blocked all her memories of when she had amnesia, and she doesn't understand why she's so sad, or why she never feels safe without a bath token he gave her to hold on to. It kills me that she doesn't remember him, but he also would have preferred it that way, because she'd probably never be able to be happy if she did remember.
