Date: 2007-04-11 07:22 am (UTC)Otogi Zoshi has to be the most underrated anime out there, which is sad, as both arcs are excellent and managed to form a cohesive story even though they're completely different. I think the reason there aren't many is because it's so little known, and so there aren't as many pictures to be found online, and because, frankly, they're HARD! The watercolor style is beautiful, but if you look at it, there are very few lines, which make them hard to work with in icons(which is why most of these are from covers and drawings, as opposed to caps) If you look at the icon of Hikaru reading or Urabe in the hat, you'll notice there aren't lines so much as there are distinct colors that make you THINK there are lines. Urm...not tooting my horn, just saying, maybe some don't have the patience for it, if they've even heard of it?
I think someone else also posted a lot of Juuni Kokuki icons yesterday.

And yes, they did, I also stole their TK icons. Like I said, I love that show.
