Durarara!! X2

meganbmooreI have now plowed through all available episodes of Durarara!! X2.
Additional things to love about the second season:
1. The Shizuo (aka "The not-too-bright 24-7 walking Parkour stunt dressed like a bartender") and Akane (aka "tiny murder child/mafia princess armed with a taser who thinks Shizuo hung the moon but wants to kill him because she thinks he's a danger to her family") show. I could watch a show of nothing but this.
2. The Shizuo and Vorona (aka "Possibly autistic Russian assassin ALSO obsessed with killing Shizuo and not quite able to tell the difference between a crush and murderous rage and so she'll just tag along as his partner for a while") show. Another show I could watch foever.
3. Anri and Mika possibly becoming real friends.
4. Izaya's (aka "Professional troll responsible for most of the trouble in the show") "I love humans but kind of despise individual people. But I'm about to make too murderous gangs prone to torture hunt me down so MAYBE I should get bodyguards for my annoying sisters. Not because I CARE I just...need someone out of my hair...yeah..." turn, not to mention the "you abducted my partner so I'm going to tear apart your organization and kill all your people until I find her. I just want to see how TOTALLY DISGUSTED she is when she sees who saved her," and last but not least, the "there was that one time in middle school when you accidentally stabbed that annoying guy who was my sorta kinda maybe friend, so I'm going to devote a decade or so of my life to the most epic trolling and frame job ever so that every single organization in Ikebukuro wants you dead, there ight be torture involved" part. Not to mention how INCREDIBLY SAD AND DEPRESSED he seems to get when Shizuo doesn't try to kill him. (Actually, after the backstory, I wonder if his eternal trolling of Shizuo is just because Shizuo was Shinra's friend first.)
5. Izaya's twin sisters, Mairu and Kururi, who are possibly EVEN BIGGER TROLLS than Izaya, just younger and more cheerful, and mostly plotting how to make his life miserable.
6. There was a stalker plotline that...was actually treated like a stalker plotline ,as opposed to the prelude to a romance? I actually wasn't into the plotline, but it was nice to know that the author actually does understand what stalking is. Maybe?
7. Celty's mortal enemy is A TRAFFIC COP.
Want I didn't love:
1. So many gangs and criminal organizations...so much overlap...so many plots to take over other groups...can't keep track...who are they...who's with who...help...
2. Mikado, Kida and Anri STILL need to just sit down and TALK. So many problems would be fixed if they would, instead of the endless secrets that are making everything escalate. i'll mostly exclude Anri from the stern eyeing this time, as she's still keeping the same secrets, but they aren't really affecting current events. And because she's actually trying to figure out what's going on with the other two.
3. OMG MIKADO STOP TAKING THE WORST ADVICE/GOING ALONG WITH THE WORST INFLUENCES EVER. You have Celty, the Otaku Van Quartet, Anri and even Simon and Shizuo if you really want. But NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you keep paying attention to Izaya and Aoba and using their terrible life choices for direction instead.
4. I kind of object to how the show has made me like Mika/Seiji...
