Pondering 12 Monkeys season finale

meganbmoore What's with the sex scene interspersed with people dying, huh? I mean I think it'll be more relevant than the shock factor sex/autopsy scene in HTGAWM, but still!
The most obvious "fix" here is that someone approaches Elliot Jones in 2015 and convinces him to send them back to stop the paradoxes, and we get a "reboot" along the lines of Cassie's death in season 1 that Cole went back and stopped, or the time shift at the beginning of the season. Cole and Cassie, without having access to time travel, would be in their late 80s/early 90s by then. Like Ramse, it is possible that they'll barely age in that time, but another possibility is that they have a child who does it instead. That MOSTLY actually occurred to me because Madeleine Stowe is supposed to be in the finale, and she's the right age. I'm pretty sure, though, that it doesn't match what was announced for her character, and none of that looks to be what's going on in the preview. Plus, Cole and Cassie don't know what happened in the future, and may stick with the idea that Ramse and Jennifer "won."
I do doubt that they'll retread a previous "fix" though, or at least, not do so too obviously.
But, I mean, they've killed off the entire cast now except Cassie, Cole, Adler and Jennifer, aside from the remaining Daughters. (And was the knife Ramse saw the one that belongs to the Daughter who he dueled?)
Given the end, I do think that popular "Who is the Witness?" theories that can be crossed off the popular theories list are: Ramse (or TW just killed his younger self), Sam (or TW just killed his father) and Elliot Jones (or TW just killed his daughter).
