Otogi Zoshi is up next in the anime rewatching queue and I've been watch youtube MVs in preparation for the rewatch, and since LJ gave back the pretty "video embed" button...

other(very spoilery) OZ post here
Also from the other post, but spoilery. And since I actually know what's happening in the ending clips, it makes me want to cry(in the "bawling your eyes out over the power and sacrifice of love" way.

I'd tell you to put wolf's rain in there(as it's my absolute favorite...were i forced to choose, OZ would likely be #3 after Twelve Kingdoms/Juuni Kokuki)

The first arc of twelve kingdoms is only "ok"(the book is much better) but it's later when Yoko grows a spine and some self esteem(and once that happens, she becomes one of my favorite anime heroines because she grows so much) and it starts being more about the world that I start loving it. And Shoryu(the Enperor of En) is beyond awesome.
Wolf's Rain sounds weird to EVERYONE. I thought it sounded like the strangest thing ever(wolves who look like people? scifi/western fairytale? huh?) but it came highly recommended and once I was watching, it didn't seem to be the least bit strange or weird because the way they do it it just seems to make perfect sense.
