next dorama?

1 ep. left of Rebirth, then I'm kinda lost for what to watch next.

I'm thinking 

1) not long(Rebirth is only 14 hour long eps, but Strange Tales of Liao Zhai was 36 eps and Handsome Siblings 40, and those were the last 2 I watched)
2) probably lighter on the angst, or at least, with the angst not the focus(a girl needs a break, especially if she's sick)
3) I should likely give the swords a rest for a week or two(she says, planning to watch Storm Riders after the last ep of Rebirth)
4) none of that is remotely set in stone if you can be persuasive.

I wanna watch Teppan Shoujo Akane!!, but I haven't found it anywhere. :hasn't checked on jdrama yet: So if you do know where to find that, want to help a random chick? xD

Teppan Shoujo Akane!! is on jdramas. That's where I got it from. It's interesting, I really liked the main character but I felt like the story wasn't tied together well - particularly at the end. I was kinda confused. But I did enjoy it as something light.

Ah, I've seen it, thanks. :] Truthfully, I was thinking of watching it because of Horikita Maki. >_>;; Yeah, I'm a fan of hers. :] And also because I like the cooking theme of the show. :D
[I gave up on Bambino! though, because the first episode made me angst a lot. ;A;]

I don't usually comment on My Girl since so many people love it, but I have to agree with you here. I watched the first half of it and could never motivate myself to watch the rest. It started out all fun and light and just got soo heavy and draggy. I know alot of people love it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

It was only for an ep or two and it's more like Goong or Full House angst. It's not that there is a huge amount of it, it's just you get attached to the characters.

Seriously. It's a light drama.

It's sort of a gut reaction to rec My Girl. Our tastes can vary at times, but if you want angst-free then definitely go for My Girl. Even amongst the angst of the last 4-5 episodes, they have constant, awesome comedy moments, like parody bits, fantasy portions, just really good stuff to keep you entertained.

I could agree with the dragginess - the plot does do a circle movement a couple of times, but it makes sense in context - but the fact is I didn't even notice it on my first watch.

I also want to watch Teppan Shoujo Akane, so reading your views on it (it seems light and comedic, too) might be neat.

Detective Conan drama - somebody told me this was good, is it?
