Calmer now, so I think I'll talk a bit about work.

They recently changed up a few things, for the better for me.

The first thing is how they prioritize shift bids. It used to be that all that mattered when it came time to redo the schedules was seniority, now that's 10% and theret is production stats. For last week, at least, that moved me from #8(or 50+) to #3(of 50 +)

The other was incentives. We used to get a quarter a sale, period. Now, as long as you don't miss any work at all(as in, even clock in a minute late) you get 50 cents a sale if your conversion is 40-44%, $1.00 for 45-50%, and $1.50 for 51%+. So, instad of getting $30 in incentives on my next paycheck, I'm getting $181(granted, that'll bump me back into that nasty next tax bracket, but...)

Meanwhile, there are these cut(but very spoiled) little 16 year old girls at my work. They're always asking people to do things for them. Now, if I'm on break or lunch and they ask my to get them something out of the vending machine, I don't mind, as I pass them going to and fro anyway. Yesterday, they were trying to get someone to go to Hobby Lobby on their lunch break to get them some paint because they were decorating jeans or something. I said no, I was going to eat on my lunch break and even if I wasn't, I didn't want to risk coming back late. Later, while I was on a call, one of them brought up a sheet of paper with giant red marker letters saying "Will you please go. Lisa said you could eat on the floor." Mind you, they weren't just asking me, they were asking anybody who had the ability to leave work last night to go for them(neither of them works long enough to qualify for a lunch break), and they just couldn't fathom that no one would go for them.
