uhm...mostly I'm putting of Face to Fate because there are only 3 eps left and A) I don't want it to end, and B) I detect much angst between here and the happily ever after.
Plus, fantasy casting is fun. (And we can play "who starred with Nakama Yukie where?" uhm...2 don't count as most have seen one show and seen me endlessly babble about the other, in the context of the two of them)

Sunako:
If you've seen Nobuta wo Produce, you know that Horikita Maki basically WAS playing Sunako there, so she's the obvious choice:

Backup: Inoue Mao:

Kyohei:
Yamapi:

Takenaga:
Oguri Shun:

I would actually be interested in seeing either of those two in either role, but I knoe the second "Yamapi" and "Maki" are said in anything resembling the same breath, half my flist starts automatically shipping.
Ranmaru:
Hayami Mokomichi(he may not look it in stills, but watch Brother Beat and you can tell he'd be perfect)

Incidentally, all 3 of these guys are about a foot taller than Maki and Mao...
Yuki(the hardest of them all because I wanted someone pretty enough who'd take a more supporting role, even if he is one of the main characters):
Tegoshi Yuya:

Backup:
Koike Teppei:

Noi:
I actually can't decide between these two:
Aragaki Yui:

Toda Erica:

Sunako's Aunt:
Nakama Yukie:

And, since it's fantasy casting, I'd have the aunt's stream of boyfriends be actors Nakama Yukie has been paired with before, playing some degree of parody of the same role:
Fujiki Naohito: cool and charismatic with more than a touch of enigma to him:

Matusmoto Jun: the wild, perpetually bored yet very intelligent younger man who thinks she's the only interesting thing around:

Odagiri Joe: the angsty brooder(hopefully with a nicer but equally selfless fate):

Matsuoka Masahiro: quiet and deadly:

Abe Hiroshi:charming oddball with a bit of an ego problem:

(wonders if anyone else will know everything that they all starred with her in)

Date: 2007-07-18 04:08 pm (UTC)Aaaaaaaaand, Erika Toda! Just because I've only seen Aragaki Yui in one ep. of her new drama. :/

Date: 2007-07-18 04:15 pm (UTC)...WTFFFFFFFF. I watched this anime with my sister! XDDDDDD And I dunno if you watched it too and hated it, or if it follows the manga at all since I never read it. D:
I actually didn't finish watching all of the anime, only bits and pieces, but what I did watch was cute. I didn't know it had a different name, I always thought it was 'Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge'. XDDDDDD;;
Anyways, it's a pretty good cast, based on what I saw of the anime. ^^;;

Date: 2007-07-18 05:25 pm (UTC)"Wallflower" is what the manga was released as in the US(and the anime likely will be as well) but it's also known as "Perfect Girl Evolution," which is closer to the actual translation.

Date: 2007-07-18 05:17 pm (UTC)Aragaki Yui can do the "cool, stylish, popular" girl and she does clever lines and such well, but Toda Erica has the giddy and energy and cute and I can see her fangirling easier...If we could just get Yui's presence and Erica's energy and combine them, we'd have the perfect Noi...

Date: 2007-07-28 02:04 am (UTC)Tegoshi is very much girly enough to pass as a girl, while LJK can look girly, but also very manly and threatening as well (as proved by My Girl). I still haven't seen the first ep of Time Between Dog and Wolf , but I still think he'd make a great Ranmaru: playboy, but there, when needed.
