Hotelier, anyone?

Has anyone of my flist seen Hotelier, either the Korean or Japanese version?

I want  to say I remember someone posting about one or both a while back, but can't remember who.

Wondering if either/both is worth getting.

um, i saw the first episode of the japanese version, but even from just that, the dorama felt very korean to me. so if you're into the sort of angst and romantic angles that are often shown on korean dramas, then maybe you should check it out?

otherwise, if you're like me, maybe not. :p

Discounting period kdramas(because you can't realy judge modern and period pieces the same way) I'm very fond of both My Girl and 1% of Anything, but am neutral at best about Goong and ran away screaming when they started a romantic triangle in Bodyguard(sad, as I was enjoying the 2 male leads up to then.)

I watched the first ep. of the japanese version... I didn't like the acting too much (too forced, I don't know) so I don't plan to finish watching it.

I tried ep one of the Japanese version and still have absolutely no idea what was going on in that show. It was just boring.

i am trying to read them as i work...great distraction! :) anyway, about hotelier, i watched the korean version long long ago. wasnt aware there was even a japaense version.

erm, it didnt rock my boat at all. it's too draggy and too, well, too blah...though i does feature a very young song hye-kyo (ji-eun from full house) and bae jong hun, harry potter all grown up into a different race! i wouldnt bother personally, but i know that a lot of people really really like it.
