In the mornings before I get my shoes on and at night after my shower, she tries to eat my toes, and then last night she apparently wandered off at one point and then came back after my parents were asleep...anyway, right after I came home I heard her meowing outside so I let her in(my guess is that she was asleep on the back porch and heard me driving up) and she was acting all traumatized so I turned on the TV to pet her until she calmed down and she got a little too into the playing and kept on biting at me.
This week at work they had a drawing...for every 2 enrollments we had last week you got a ticket...I won a stereo. Cool, except that the taxes for both it and the Wal-Mart gift card are coming out of this paycheck...
Had a mini burnout(think I mentioned it earlier) and have been taking books back to Hasting's for in-store credit...got about $200 off of them...still have about $50...except the people at Hastings are either great or blatantly don't care and think that the used books are a waste of their time. Got one of the second category on Wednesday... scanner didn't pick it up she said they couldn't take it...didn't bother looking them up...took the same books back today and the manager took them all ::rolls eyes::

Date: 2004-11-06 03:23 am (UTC)I think it's cool to return used books for credit, but I don't think I could give up my books. I like having books I've read, even if I rarely have time to re-read anything.
