Just for fun.  Was going to be 10, but I had troubles narrowing it down.

This is favorite male characters, not biggest crushes(for example, much as I love Manji, I could never ever crush on him...actually, I don't really crush on a lot of these...most of the ones I do aren't even here...very strange...)

In no order whatsoever, aside from the fact that Magatsu IS number one and Shuri is number 2(manga/anime characters period, actually).  Pics are just a quick google search and not really the best in many cases.

I'm hardly into anime or manga, just cause I was never ever exposed to it...and live action got me addicted. But I know kyo, I love him! Not in a I have a crush way (I don't usually crush on animated or drawn guys...usually), but he's just so funny and kind of sweet sometimes. Yeah, I'm obviously so not crushing on him, lol.

yeah, one of the few shoujo manga I think I could read, because shoujo mangas kill me with their sugary overkill. I think I really like those weird mangas...probably.

Actually, there are a fair chunk of non-sugary shojo manga out there, they just aren't as well known(and are often what i prefer)

Dropping a random line to say I'm finally up to date with the eglish SDK releases...

I love Hotaru faaaar far too much. And I actually LIKE Akira now. And I love Kyo even more because he's just too damn amusing. And Akari. Akari is fantabulous in so many ways... (Even more so in the way Kyo reacts to her... She's punching Bontenmaru around and he's sat there grinning like the kid who just got away with murder! She spoils him, that's why...XD)

Though few things will top Kyo flicking Hotaru in the forehead and then kicking him (in much the same way Sanzo tends to kick Goku...Only with less anger and more "teehee!") only for Hotaru to show up about 2or 3 volumes later and dish out the payback!

Uh yes, I'll probably end up directing any other rants I have your way until my friend reads the manga. :D *threw the first 4 volumes at her and demanded she read them!*

Damnit, I swear there should have been a seperate manga for the four emperors sometimes...it'd be like anime soap opera...with less drama and more killing. And more lulz.

Hotaru is, truly, too good for words. As is Akira. You just don't realize the awesomeness of either one for a while. And Akari is...amazing...I've only read up to v22(I'm very behind in my manga reading lately)

I would love a 4 emperors flashback series...doubt we'll get one, though.

I went to a convention last month so they had up to the latest volume! :D (I was able to catch up because some very nice person had bought up to volume...18 of the manga from where I was up to at home...and was selling it on the cheap in the bring&buy room then the stores in the dealers room had the latest volumes! I love that person so... Alas, the dude next to me asked if SDK was a good manga...there was a very short, condensed rant about the awesome of it)

A flashback series is so much fun to think of though. As crazy and dangerous as they are...they're all so SILLY. Between Hotaru and Akira's sibling like quarrels, Akari and her Kyo love, Bontenmaru being the crazy uncle and Kyo being...well. Kyo. It'd just be so awesome.

(I realise I'm repeating what I just said but STILL.)
