I gather someone else is writing the comics that will adapt the books, though.

The TV series may have failed *sniffle*  but at least it seems to have brought a fair bit of attention to the property.

Man, I was heartbroken when they didn't renew the series.
This is way good though, more Harry Dresden in the world is a Good Thing.

The books started out good but not amazing, then suddenly turned awesome.

Exactly! The one that really amazed me was Dead Beat. Everything came together so amazingly perfectly in it.
