Avatar Season 2, eps 1-5

Ep. 1: The Avatar State:

*It took 3 minutes and 20 seconds for Zuko to start emo angsting.  That's including the opening credits.  *hearts*

*Were Azula male, I would be in love.  I kid you not.  I will accept her as compensation for not getting to keep the awesome bounty hunter from S1.

*Silly psycho earth general guy tried ordering Aang around...one does not do such things in front of Katara.

*And one does not be mean to Aang on my TV screen and escape my annoyance.  *glares*  NO MEANIE TO AANG!(except Zuko)

*Why does Zuko try doubting Iroh?  Or getting by without him?  He should drink more tea.  And indulge in Iroh's passtimes.

*No earth people they don't need you.  You tried smooshing Aang and your boss buried Katara alive.  Be happy an accidental gust of wind didn't send you off a cliff.

*That was awesomely emo haircutting, there.

Ep. 2: The Cave of Two Lovers:

*Did not really want to see Sokka in his undies, there...

*So, these are the hippies I've heard so much about.

*Sokka was not meant to be in the same time zone as hippies

*Suko's tiny fish is somehow inspiring.

*DEATH BEFORE AZULA indeed.  I understand.  Don't worry, despite fleeing from a teenaged girl, I still regard you as men.

*Zuko is so not meant for anything resembling subterfuge. Ever.

*Ah earth nation girl, I fear Zuko's emo is too deep for you.

*Poor Aang is about 10 years short of being ready for this conversation with Katara.

*Not sure what I think of this episode, to be honest.

Ep 3: Return to Omashu:

*Somebody save Sokka from the slime please. Thank you.

*Azula needs a small, elite team?  I will so love this.

*Clearly, this amazingly bored girl will now go be slightly less bored in Azula's company.

*Cheerful  new age acrobat girl and perpetually bored girl? Azula can pick them.

*New age girl is love.

*"Everyone into sick formation"?  *snort*

*Don't worry, perpetually bored girl, I'm fairly sure Azula is coming to save you from your boredom.

*These are some interesting recruitment tactics Azula has.

*Yes Azula, save her from her life of repressed emo perpetual boredom!

*IN! LOVE! WITH! THESE! THREE!

*Oh, what a look on Mai's face when Ty Lee mentioned Zuko...

*Ok, yes, it was amazingly convenient that both girls were in the same town as Azula, but I don't care.

Ep. 4: The Swamp:

*Poor Zuko...this begging thing is not flattering to your emo prince look, is it?

*Otoh, Iroh is loving this...

*Oh Momo and Appa, I fear there is no way you can beat these vines...

*Swamp...hillbillies...?

*Nnnooooo...no Yue...not even a hallucination!

*Hmmm...I don't really know what I think of this one, either.

Ep. 5: Avatar Day:

*Anti-avatar day? Seriously?

*Aang, sweetie, there are times to be overly noble, and there are times to go "Screw you losers, i'm not taking the flak for something that happened 200 years before i was born, and 300 years before you were."  Guess which one this is...

*Oh Zuko...have you decided that armed robbery is better than begging?

*Sokka is wearing a chinese official PROPELLER HAT!  THANK YOU AVATAR!

*Is this Suki's village? Tell me it is! It is!

*What? BAH!  No Suki...

*Yes Sokka, no playing with the Fans of Awesome.

*Not even jailers can resist the woobie cuteness of Aang.

*Detective Sokka is love.  Lack of Suki is not.

*Aawwww...Zuko bought Iroh a teapot.

*I'm kinda thrown, recognizing distinctively Chinese and Japanese things, here...

*This is some very impressive emo from Zuko so far.

Deeply bitter about no Suki as she was on the disc menu.  Need Azula and co. icons stat.
