I realize it is late.  However, at this work station, there is a pen lying out, a purse to the side, a book beside the pen, and a coat on the back of the chair.

Therefore, I cannot POSSIBLY understand how you could assume that the half-full soda bottle right beside the purse was trash.

I should probably inform you that I read nearly three full Fullmetal Alchemist volumes during my shift at the restaurant tonight.

And I even giggled over the GLOOM and DOOM.

I love this woman. She is brilliant.

I'm happy to see a lot of the weirdness from the anime, which bothered me until I came to find it charming, came directly from the original source. It wasn't added by the adapters to entertain (successfully or not) the viewer. The characters, so far, are true to form.

I skimmed the wiki entry and it said the manga/anime split after some plotline involving Greed. I'm biding my time and racing through a little to get to the new stories. There was some changeup in chronology (flashbacks in different places) but so far I haven't seen many completely new stories.

I think Scar's motivations were changed in his introductions, though.

I'm completely buying these volumes. I want to have fma available anytime I want/need and not have to plop myself down in front of the tv for subtitles.
