I stopped watching somewhere in season 2, but...Kate/Sawyer, man. Kate/Jack bores me to tears.

i've seen S1 and most of S2, but was'nt really paying a lor of attention. IIRC, I was largely bored w/the triangle(seemed obvious and manipulative in the back and forth) but founf Sayid/Shannon and Sun/Jin interesting.

Yeah, I really liked both of those pairings. I enjoyed Charlie/Claire for a while, but I heard that it didn't have the best ending either.

Charlie/Claire started "aww, you two are cute" but near the end of s1, it seemed to be more "obsessive stalking is cute" than anything else.

I can't vote because I have no idea who any of the characters are. Well, Sawyer at least I recognize as "the guy played by that actor that folks were suggesting should play Gambit", but that's not terribly helpful in this context...

Women pretend they want a good guy, but really want the bad guy. We knew this before Lost ever was, so why drag it out over three (going on four) seasons?!

Pretty much. I assumed early on that it would end up Kate/Sawyer and lost interest soon after when it became clear that it would be a drug out triangle to have a drug out triangle. For romance, I found the Sun/Jin and Sayid/Shannon storylines much more interesting.

Really? Well, it's not the main factor of me liking Lost. I love the plot itself and the character development. The romantic stuff is just...there. Adds to the character interactions and development, I guess. But really, I totally love triangles! :D Especially if it's an equal triangle. Those are good.

Despite the producers' consistent attempts to make me care since S1, I really could not care less who Kate ends up with. For varying reasons I dislike everybody in that setup, so I suppose I hope Jack ends up with Juliet, since Sawyer and Kate sort of appear to deserve each other.

The problem with it is that it's blatantly a triangle to have a triangle...there's no reason for it to affect the plot and no reason for her to have trouble choosing save that it adds "conflict."

well...I wouldn't exactly call him "indescribable"...I could go with Nice Normal Boy, but that would imply Tall Cynical Boy and Hyper Boy With Glasses weren't nice or normal...
