Remember my post last night about Tokyopop's translator making "Gyosei" be "Gyoso"(which, but the way, I am completely ignoring)? 

Now Sansi is explaining the world's mythology to Taiki using "fae" "faeries" and "boggarts."

Sugh a good thing the story transcends translation.

That sounds about as painful as the Saiyuki artbooks/merch that think the proper English equivalent for "youkai" is "ghost"...

Of course, the worst I've seen is a book on Japanese mythology that called Minamoto no Raiko a "doughty knight."

I try not to let my eye stray onto the Engrish text at all -- it's just a minor design element to go next to the pretty, pretty pictures. The typos are almost as impressive as the bad translation:

Humans and ghosts live together peacefully in this world-hut that peace has suddenly brrn shattered.the ghosts have lost their selves and suddenly started to attack humans. [sic]
