Guys, does Vala ever stop with the pigtails?  Ever?

10.5: Uninvited:

+Cameron, Landry wants bonding time. You have my sympathies.

+Vala uses the threat of alone time with her as blackmail. An interesting approach.

+Oh Vala, you may eventually get Teal’c to like you, but I don’t think you’ll ever get him to help you with your black market stuff.

+Cameron is trapped in the boonies with Landry and no playstation. Can he survive those conditions?

+I do love the phobia about sitting in Landry’s chair. And Vala putting to put her feet on the desk.

+I just realized...I think Landry’s cabin was also McKay’s house on SGA S1.

+ANOTHER think that nests in other animals and changes them!

+All this Sam/Vala interaction is spoiling me.

10.6: 200:

+You don’t think being directly responsible for a huge disaster and the destruction of a planet is the best way to introduce your characters? Clearly, you do not know your sister show very well.

+Invisible Jack, eeh? Is anyone surprised by the shower spying? Also: "I assume I am staring at you stoically."

+Cameron is such a fanboy.

+Gate failure? Oh noes! They can’t escape!

+Wizard of Oz Parody? Oh, the (in)humanity...

+Whoop, there’s the Farscape parody.

+Jack as Cameron’s father? Oy.

+HI JACK!

+Well hello, Sam/Jack allegory for sex...

+No more than that for the wedding? *pout*

10.7: Counterstrike:

+Hi again, mini!Vala. I see you’re now not!Inara. (Ok, fine, I’ll start calling her Adria.)

+Heeey...Shar’e mention. To Vala. In cased we missed it.

+Sam, why are you randomly touching buttons and controls? Don’t you normally tell people NOT to do that?

+Wow. Adria really is just like a little kid in a way...

+Yay! Sam finally got to rescue the boys.

+I continue to bemoan the quality of most Jaffa not Teal’c or Bra’tac.

10.8: Memento Mori:

+No, Daniel, it’s a date. And now she’s being kidnapped. Go get your Vala back.

+Well, we haven’t had an amnesia story in a while.

+Anyone else notice that the police officer called Vala by her name instead of Val when he wasn't supposed to know her real name yet?

+Uhm...hi there, Ben Browder, handcuffed shirtless to a bed. Uhm, show, were you just begging for certain things or something?

+Cameron should just count himself lucky that Jack was not there to mock him. Or that Vala wasn’t her normal self and stumbling across him.

+Hmm...yes, dramatic scene where Daniel helps her find herself again and she gets her memories back. We understand, show. They are OTP. *does a bit of "aww"-ing over the scene.*

I remained saddened by Sam still not seeming to get to do a lot.

Still not quite sure what I think of the whole Vala/Daniel thing.  On the one hand, it works, but on the other, it still feels like they're pushing it a bit too hard at times(Sam/Jack void and the whole Farscape business...) and I'm not really used to SG1 pushing pairings, and then there's that whole pesky thing where you have real people playing the roles and the chemistry doesn't always work the way you want.  Claudia Black has chemistry with Michael Shanks, but she has more chemistry with Ben Browder and Christopher Judge.  Ah well, no REAL complaints with it.  And they entertain me, which is all I require.

Well, we all know that Claudia Black has super UBER chemistry with Ben Browder on and off screen but as she guested as Vala before Briwder came as Mitchell, so they keep pushing the Vala/Daniel thing. Though in a scene or two when you only see Michael Shanks' back, you could definitely mistake him as Browder LOL

Yeah, but they pushed Vala/Daniel a LOT harder once s9 started. CB also tends to gravitate towards BB in a lot of group scenes, it seems. Sometimes, I have to take a double take for MS and BB just in profile(like, in the Farscape parody, I had to rewind to see which one it was as Crichton.) They don't exactly look ALIKE, but they have the exact same TYPE of look, if you know what I mean, and since they also have similar builds and hair, and tend to wear the same clothing a lot...

Yeah, the Vala/Daniel thing gets annoying after a while. I mean. they're kinda cute? But um, at this point, I'm all about the full team orgy.

Or Vala/Teal'c.

I think Daniel/Vala works best as "they will SO get together if they ever grow up" but is kinda annoying when it's "OTP! LOOK! OTP!"

It makes me want to go "yes, I get it already! Move on!"

Vala does seem to have the most chemistry with Teal'c. Ithink it's that their personalities are polar opposites, but Teal'c's sense of humor makes them compatible opposites. plus...uhm...when Teal'c respects a woman(beyond his general respect for anyone-not-goa'uld-or-stupid) it's...impressive.
