meganbmooreI'm sorry, I gave up on anything but reactions about 5 pages in.
And I think the next volume should bethe last of what I read before.
(hey, what’s with the “god’s child” and “July X, 1999” namedropping, here?)
I demand scenes with Kurai and Raziel for the lethal levels of wee!temperamental!cuteness. Possibly literally lethal.
And I should find myself Kira and Kurai icons.
THE POLICE TRY TO ARREST SETSUNA!
KURAI VERBALLY KICKS HIS BUTT SO HE’LL GO TO THE AIRPORT AND ASK SARA TO RUN AWAY WITH HIM!!! IT’S A VERY ANGSTY AND DRAMATIC SPEECH! SARA IS PROPERLY MOVED!
KIRA SHOWS UP AT THE AIRPORT TO HELP WITH A SWORD AND FIRECRACKERS! (I approve, but how did he get past security?) WAIT! Also trenchcoat and no shirt and nunchucks! (HOW??)
Oh, Sara also “gave” Setsuna to Kurai, but that didn’t last long, and Kira had an angsty conversation with the kid whose body he’s living in.
Setsuna wisely decides that the whole “big brother” thing has got to go.
Ther is now a wee!psychic angel named Metatron, who has a masked bishounen-Guard? Underling? Keeper?-named Sevothtarte. Who we shall call Sevy, like Metatron. I’m starting to need a chart for the angels. For some reason, Sevy killed the attendants who heard Metatron’s vision about Rosiel killing him. I assume this will be explained. Metatron is also the king of the angels (!!!) and hung up on a catatonic female angel named Jibril, who was apparently the first Gabriel.
I think Zaphikel explained a lot of stuff about what’s going on in heaven, but I was distracted because Raziel is so wee!cute and there was a lot of it. BUT APPARENTLY, GOOD IS MISSING!
I think Rosiel was, uhm, “watching” (or something) when Setsuna and Sara had sex. And screaming an approximation of “SISTER ALEXIEL! WHY MUST YOU BE WITH ONE WHO IS NOT ME?!?!?!”
Uhm. Right. Also, Katan claims to be his child. Kind of. MY SQUICK METER WAS FINALLY ACTIVATED!
Actually, it seems everyone saw that. (Good grief! Stop with the supernatural voyeurism!)
Also, Arachne breaks Kira out of jail. Or just visits. And Alexiel seems to have really pissed someone off, as she keeps dying tragically. The samurai angsty death is awesome and that’s all I’m saying. I wonder if Sara is the reincarnation of Alexiel’s samurai lover.
Katan and Kirie’s backstories make me slightly less annoyed by Rosiel, though I’m sure he’s still just using them both.
Oh, and Kirie kills Sara and Setsuna blows Tokyo up over it. Somehow, this part does not phase me. I’m sure both will get better. Maybe.
