1.  rightstuf.com is having their "summer clearing" sale, meaning everything in stock is an extra 20% off. Best to act fast on it.

2.  Bidding at livelongnmarrygoes live at 12:01 a.m.  Someone pimped the comm at scans_daily(why didn't I think of that?)  So hopefully a few offers there will roll in.

3.  Has anyone read any of Simon & Schuster's Once Upon A Time line of YA?  It is apparently retellings of fairy tales set in various historical periods.

4.  telophasehas recently watched Death Trance (AKA,"Almost the most awesometastic bit of crack to ever come out of Japan") and is now doing very detailed recaps with pics at her LJ.  They are not to be missed.  (She still has a couple posts left to go.)

 5.  Know what the only real problem with my new layout is?  It doesn't show how many uses a tag has had, or make the tags that have been used more bigger.

I've read a couple of the "Once Upon a Time" series. The quality varies depending on the author. I read Night Dance (http://www.simonsays.com/content/book.cfm?tab=1&pid=629035&er=9781416961321) and enjoyed it, but I wasn't crazy about Snow (http://www.simonsays.com/content/book.cfm?tab=1&pid=522356&er=9781416940159). They're all quick reads though, so I guess if you don't care for one story, you can easily move on to another book in the series.

I like the series overall as I love reading retellings of fairytales. There are some individual books that I didn't really care for, but I would recommend them for a fun, quick read.
