2. The character whom I'm embarrassed to admit I adore: Rock Lee. His type often annoys me.
3. The character that would send me screaming in the opposite direction IRL despite being fascinating in fiction.: None. I either liked them, was annoyed by them, or hated them. His "complex" characters didn't work for me. I guess maybe a token Gaara, as I did like him, though I wasn't fascinated by him.

4. The character with the most annoying personality quirks: No brainer: Watanuki. Shounen and shoujo heroines have nothing on the boy.
5. The character I most admire and why: Himawari, for not letting it all beat her and managing to be happy.

It is a very pretty book! I actually own this one....every year, a former Anime Club member sends a box of stuff from Japan that we can use as prizes for a costume contest, and one year, I won this Mokona book. It's so cute!!

Aaaaactually, that post is pretty old. The whole book was retranslated here (http://iamsocool12345.livejournal.com/41800.html) and here (http://iamsocool12345.livejournal.com/44317.html). As for the images, some of them are gathered here (http://www.kimihiro.net/mokona/) but not all. I was kind of putting up an illustrated version online (*is the webmaster*) but I've had no time lately.

Oh, and there's also a XXXHOLiC audio drama that came out this week with Clow flashbacks from the book. Until translations aren't up, I can't say if there are subtext-y lines or not, though.
