meganbmooreTobei continues to try very, very hard to deny his destiny as a Retard Shounen Hero. Unfortunately for him, only he and Ose really buy it. The bad guys have figured it out a little too well. Itsuki objects to this, as it now means she has to put up with more kidnappings.
Still lacking that leash, Itsuki seems to decide that just grabbing Tobei’s arm and dragging him back home will work. I approve.
I’m somewhat disappointed that the series is only two more volumes, beyond the simple fact that I wish it were longer. It’s only just now starting to seriously get into Tobei’s character growth and his going from a mindset based purely on animalistic, predatory survival to humanity. However, with Tobei off fighting the EXes with “levels” to go, I suspect that will be limited to Tobei fighting woe-is-me host after woe-is-me host and flashing back to Itsuki and family and going “ooooh…that’s how I was wrong, there!”
