Yeah, I don't know what's up with that. In fact, what is up with the last few frames where she's running after Manji and it turns out to be Habaki...?

I think that's just weird cutting. It's pretty obviously Manji in the surprise glomp. I think it's "cute surprise glomp!" "ominously cut to villain" "cute little Rin."

But I know when I first saw the kiss, I had to rewind it before I went on because "!!!!" And also, because at quick glance, I almost thought it was Giichi and was even more "!!!!!!!!!!"

Yeah, I had to rewind a bit, too, it was such a shock. I...I didn't have the Giichi thought, thank goodness. Somehow, "rin kissing Giichi" is even more brainbreaking than "Rin kissing bal energy person."

Man, Giichi was barely in the credits, even moreseo than Magatsu. He's just kinda lurking behind Hyakurin and then pounces out. Which, uhm, is fitting enough, but...
