meganbmooreSo ends this round of Angel Sanctuary posts, due to a lack of Vol 12.
Who else knew Shateiel was dead as soon as Raziel said she was pretty? Not only did Raziel have her head (I think it was hers…) land at his feet, he also is now sporting an eyepatch because of the explosion. I now declare him to be a Clamp character. Even before he was gathering her body parts.
ALEXIEL! As Alexiel! With Kira! Need more! Have no coherent thoughts! Annoyed there can be no Alexiel when there’s also Setsuna! Want more Alexiel/Kira messedupness!
And Kira as Lucifer/Lucifel? Good story move, but I kind of wish it hadn’t been so easy to spot. And given Belial and her obsessive “I live for him to love me, but when he does, it’ll turn to hate” life style, and Sara(AND WHOEVER JIBRIL HAD ROMANTIC AFFAIRS WITH BEFORE!!!), and Alexiel being in love with God and Belial and Raphael’s past is it actually possible for this love tangle to get more complicated?
But are his days of sitting in shadows and hugging his sword over? I don’t want them to go away!
Arachne gone for good: do not buy. But is there anyone in this series besides Setsuna/Sara who just loves or hates anyone, instead of both at once.
Was anyone else a bit pissed off when Setsuna told Sara not to cheat on him? I mran (A) Dude, couldn’t you think of anything else to say, what with this being the love of your life who died, and who you’ve been searching Heaven and Hell for so you can save? I mean, really! (B) Usually, when a guy says that, it’s a hint that the girl will be forced to sleep with someone else, either through plot convolutions, or by being raped.
Hmm…I seem to like Kato more when he’s bullying Kurai and Raziel. I wish for them to bond and turn the tables on him. Kira will be amused.
And Zaphikel as an undercover fallen angel who was a terrorist! Who accidentally killed his true love! And will be killed if he’s ever discovered! And looks amazingly similar to Kira in the past! And he is still blind! I kinda hope/with that Anael were alive and in hiding somewhere.
BUT! Ok. Lailah: Woman Uriel was in love with who was raped and blamed him. Worked for/with Anael, and who Anael walked in on making out with Zaphikel when Zaphikel was a terrorist and she kept rejecting him. Anael is Zaphikel’s dead true love.
Do I have all this straight?
THEORY! Sevothtarte is Lailah, who now hate women and angels because she was gang raped by angels. Or something.
And Sara yelling at the TV screen about arbitrarily choosing chosen ones! And playing head games with Sevothtatre! And falling victim to Sparkles! So glad she’s back.
Hmm…has anyone tried to create an angst scale/romantic involvements type of chart for this series? Or even a relationship flow chart?
