Black Cat Vol 16

You know, mangaka, one of the things I’ve always liked about Black Cat is that the fight scenes don’t really last that long. That keeps no longer applying.

So, the power Sven had Rinslet help him develop was being able to slow everything around him down? Cool. As is the machine gun suitcase. I liked him flirting with the Sweeper he’s stranded with, but wish he’d contested her comment that he wanted her to stay back because she was a girl. On the one hand, I like to think that he knows better. OTOH, this is shounen. Though most shounen won’t even let a girl say that.

First round of Train and River against Creed’s underlings: Fun. Second round: not so much. But Mummy Taoist is a young bishie? (Whose gender I cannot determine.) Nifty.

I hope there’s more development on that front.

Needed more Rinslet, Eve, Jenos and Sephira.

Black Cat FTW!

I'm pretty sure Mummy!Taoist is a dude. He was in the anime, at least. Sven's new power is definitely badass, if a bit god modding, haha.
