Mick Takeuchi, what’s with the near-shota cover there, huh? This isn’t that kind of manga! (Yeah yeah yeah…it’s meant to be more along the lines of “Bond villain with cat” or somesuch, but…

Upside to getting near the end: More plot means less time for Aoi.

Downside to getting near the end: More plot means less time for Ateko.

So Toui is our big-bad, eeh? I kind of wish it was something that had been building for longer than two volumes, but oh well. I think this is Takeuchi’s first series to last more than a few volumes, so I guess long-term plotting is fairly new to her.

So, if I understand this correctly, Amane has the soul and power of a koma-oni (or is it something even more powerful?) inside her. I guess that will take care of the whole bit where Hyoue is immortal and she isn’t. Was anyone else thinking the reveal was leading to one of her parents being a koma-oni, though?

And were people stopping to have sex while being chased by evil uncles and other outcasts, not to mention their koma-oni? *tsk*
