I swear this series is starting to get as busy as Fairy Cube. That’s an accomplishment.

Raziel is Zaphikel and Anael’s kid! I love it when I’m right about these things. But wasn’t Zaphikel tricked into killing her on his last job? When did she get exceptionally pregnant and then he found her corpse in what looks to be a landfill?

Riuet is apparently female. I…err…thought she was a guy. Look, I can’t be blamed for these things. Have you seen Rosiel? He looks more feminine than any female character in this series! You can’t blame me for being confused when she draws a character that actually looks kinda male!

Kurai is apparently hitting puberty, cutting her off from her dragon spirits. I…err…thought she was well past that. Meanwhile, no dragon spirits means no warning when Rosiel invades Anagura. Setsuna finds him just as she’s about to make out with Alexiel’s body. Or when he’s in the middle of it. Is it hypocritical to be bothered by non-Mudo incest in this series?

Kira decides this is the perfect time to dump Kato and make sure everyone knows he’s Lucifer, and then stab himself through the gut and get Rosiel too. This is a sign of his True Love. Mind you, I’m not sure if it was for Alexiel or Setsuna, but does that really matter?

Rosiel gets cut in half during all this, but that doesn’t stop him from punching a hole through Kira’s body and making it fall to pieces, before putting himself back together, stabbing out one of Setsuna’s.eyes, ripping off a wing, and making off with Alexiel’s body.

I’m sure Kira while be back.

As if all that weren’t enough, Michael is Lucifer’s twin, Rosiel is sending Sevothtarte dreams about when she was raped as Lailah, Zaphikel dies (probably for good) Kaori Yuki tries to cause heart attacks by making us think Kurai is dead (she isn’t) heaven and hell merge, Setsuna ends up Michael’s prisoner, and Sevotharte wants Raphael to drug Sara or some such. And Sara’s on trial.

Oh, and Metatron and Belial make blink-and-you’ll-miss-them appearances.
 
How do we think Kaori Yuki comes up with all this, anyway?

It's always been my theory she read some obscure and less-than-mainstream bible-etc mythos and then got very intoxicated (alcohol, mushrooms, lack of sleep?) and did her own variant.

Ah, Angel Sanctuary. How I have missed you. Or not. I stopped reading around volume 9, but I never understood it after the first book.
