It seems that, while I was in the shower, the cats decided that I do not need my manga bookmark anymore and made off with it.

It is a very pretty Rukia bookmark that I got at A-Kon.

They seem to have forgotten just who has been feeding them recently.

We shall have words.

My suggestions for location: Check under couches and closet doors. Most times Trin loses her toys, it's because she's batted them all over and they went under something so she couldn't reach it.

Mom told me she found 6 cardboard mousies under the hall closet door.

Under the bed's another prime spot. I was once mystified by a series of vanishing gloves, and thought they might have been stolen and chewed up by the dog, until I caught my cat in the act of dragging one upstairs. (Particularly startling as she is a very tiny cat, and the glove she was dragging was a very large man's fur-lined leather glove almost as big as her body) -- it turned out she had a Seekrit Glove Stash dead center under the bed.
