So, I just saw tail end of the Kim Possible finale.  I may have missed crucial plotpoints, but...

...did it seriously end with Ron getting the final battle and savingt he world with his Monkey Fu while Kim sat back and looked on in shocked awe?  In classic "damsel in distress" pose?  Right down to the "hero" tenderly helping the "damsel" to her feet after saving the world?

I knew the episodes had become more Ron-centric (and so not as interesting, IMO) but never thought it'd go that far.

PLEASE tell me I misunderstood?

I may just have to ignore the finale if they ever put it on DVD.

It's entirely possible that the fairly large chunk I missed involved a plan where Kim did everything but the plot required that she stay on the ground and send Ron to strike the final blow, and that she wasn't sure he could pull it off. Shego made a comment about "sidekick stepped up to the plate," which could imply something along those lines.

Still, even if it did play out the way it looked, it's not enough to destroy my overall cheery opinion of the series.

This is precisely why they really should have ended it with the second telefilm as originally intended. Additional seasons driven by fan demands never seem to turn out well.

Kim Possible ended o0o and they actually ended the show. Must go and watch. I use to watch this show so much and then kinda faded out because they repeated it too much.

I have nothing of substance to add, as I have only caught a couple episodes of Kim Possible here and there. I just wanted to mention how pleased I am that you're getting so much mileage out of that icon.
