So, this is me...
Nov. 23rd, 2003 06:52 pmWell, the good news is that I retyped all the pages I typed yesterday, and finished typing the rest of it in (with some healthy revisions along the way) PLUS I wrote a short(3/4 page) paper that's due on Wednesday(I am college student, hear me roar!)
So, on to the whole introducing myself thing(even though most people who drop by here already know me)
My name is Megan Moore(and if you hadn't already figured that one out, then I'm concerned about you) I'm twenty two and live in Texas and am a junior incollge. My major is English with a professional writing specialization, with philospohy and psychology double minors. Current career plans include becoming a published novelist(fantasy and mystery, with a few romances tossed in...never say I'm not ambitious) and comic book writer. Current job, however, is telemarketing.
I'm currently getting a few short stories ready to send off to try and gett them published, and entered the last round of the Writers of the Future contest and should learn the results within the next couple of weeks.
I'm a voracious reader. I read constantly. I have about ten new novels come out each month(which I'm very behind on) snd my monthly pull list for comics typically runs to at least thirty single issues and several trades. Not a good setup for a broke college student, but there you have it.
Questions?
Current read(novel) "Agents of Light and Darkness" by Simon R Green
Current read(comics): "Lady Pendragon: Dragon Blade" #1-5
