manga: Pumpkin Scissors Vol 4

This remains one of the more interesting role reversal mangas I’ve read.

I really do love Alice’s sisters and their resignation/approval of her military status. And they make Oland serve as part of the wall when Alicew gets her sword out from under her ballgown skirt.

But big, battle scarred Oland has to realize that idealistic Alice isn’t infallible, and devotes his life to guarding her back. Did I mention the excellent role reversals here?

I don’t know what I think of Alice’s fiance yet. He seems to be coming from the same place she is, but in a more calculating way, and I don’t know if I trust him yet.
